Research & Development

At Medirox we are proud of our strong research and development heritage and contribution to innovation within the field of haemostasis.


Medirox’s Research and Development department is located at Medicine and Health Sciences, Linköping University. Here, we develop reagents, plasma control material and plasma calibrators for coagulation diagnostics.

Medirox R&D department is located within the university hospital. The department is close to the blood bank, medical collaborators, special laboratory instruments and other medical facilities, with access to the highest quality expertise within walking distance. The R&D department is run by three PhD-level scientists who lead internal and external projects simultaneously, as well as running excellent training courses and other education in the haemostasis field.

The R&D team is supervised by Malin Walfridsson and 2 research and development scientists as well as medical consultants Professor Elvar Theodorsson, Professor Tomas L. Lindahl, and assistant Professor Sofia Ramström.
