PT Quick is the most common method to measure Prothrombin Time (PT), and is normally the assay of choice to monitor oral anticoagulat therapy. Moreover, PT Quick is used as a fundamental screening test for acquired or inherited bleeding disorders. MediRox PT Quick reagent is characterized by high sensitivity and easy to reconstitute.

MediRox PT Quick, MRX943 is a highly sensitive diagnostic reagent intended for use in performing PT tests. MediRox PT reagent provides a source of rabbit tissue thromboplastin and calcium that specifically activate factor VII in the extrinsic coagulation pathway. MediRox PT reagent is easy to reconstitute, calcium is already added to the reagent before lyophilisation. Calibration was performed against the most recent WHO thromboplastin standard, RBT/05, which is traceable to the first reference preparation of thromboplastins. The calibration assure low lot-to-lot variation and consequently results in reliable PT determination.
The prothrombin time is the method of choice for monitoring oral anticoagulat therapy and is a fundamental screening test for acquired or inherited bleeding disorders. During oral anti-coagulat therapy, the activity of vitamin K-dependant clotting factors (II, VII, IX, X, Protein C and Protein S) is reduced and PT time is increased thereby enable the quantitative determination of prothrombin activity.

All Coagulation Reagents
Liquid compontent kits containing phospholipid extract and silica contact activator. Sensitive to heparin as well as factors and insensitive to lupus anticoagulant.
Latex-based liquid component kits for quantifying D-dimer fragments in human citrated plasma using readers with wavelengths 350-900nm.
MRX Owren’s PT
The predominantly used PT method in Scandinavia due to the high sensitivity to interferences. The assay can be used with both whole blood and plasma.
MRX Fib Clauss
Lyophilised reagents for quantifying fibrinogen in human citrated plasma, according to the Clauss method.
FXa-based chromogenic assay consisting of liquid components for quantifying functional Antithrombin activity in human citrated plasma.
MRX Thrombin Time
Two different lyophilised reagents for detection of fibrinogen abnormalities, and the presence of heparin and other thrombin inhibitors in human citrated plasma.
