As of July 1 2010 Trinity Biotech (T-coag) no longer supply Autodimer 1431 to the market. MRX143 can be used as a direct replacement to AutoDimer 1431.
What is MRX143?
MediRox used to distribute an OEM version of AutoDimer 1431 under the name GHI143, and MRX143 was specifically developed to replace the same back in 2007. It has currently replaced Autodimer in hundereds of installations including several University hospitals. Evaluations as well as installtions shows a correlation in the same range as between two lots AutoDimer. (Technical report MRX143 shows r2 of 0.995 between the two.)
The reagent is truly Plug´n play interchangeable. Simply change the bottles and calibrate, and you are ready to go!

Different instrument manufacturers and models requires different reagents, and MediRox can offer reagents for the most common methods:
- MRX147 for 400-550nm wave lenght.
- MRX143 for 560-800nm wave lenght.
- MRX143LS for 550-650nm Light Scatter
Higher wave length is normally to prefer since interference from high levels of Bilirubin, Haemoglobin, Cholesterol and Triglycerides is less. Some systems use a Light Scattering method and need a special version of MRX143 named MRX143LS.
MRX143, 143LS and MRX145 are unique since they share the same monoclonal antibody, and is therefore recommended when different methods are incorporated in the same lab-organisation and full results combabillity is wanted.
These reagents can be used on most instruments. Available from MediRox are application protocols for several instruments from Sysmex, Hitachi, Olympus, Behnk, IL and others (Contact our support for a complete list)
